Our thorough and detailed training program consists of online training modules, in-person classes, and training shifts with mentors. Each team member must complete levels of training and various certifications that focus on safety protocols, cleaning procedures, dog behavior, and dog enrichment to ensure your pets are having a safe and fulfilling experience while in our care!
Just like we value the pets in our care as individuals, we know the importance of having team members from all different areas of expertise and life experiences. We have frequent “lunch and listen” events with every location so that team members can share their ideas to help improve our business.

Hi, my name is Emilee. I’ve always had a deep passion for animals—especially dogs! For me, working with dogs isn’t just a job; it’s a way to support their well-being, bring them joy, and build meaningful connections with each one. Being around dogs brings me a true sense of purpose and happiness, and I’m committed to using my time and skills to help them live healthy, fulfilling lives. I’ve been proud to be part of the Ruff Housing team since 2021, and every day I’m grateful for the opportunity to do what I love.
I have always loved animals, especially dogs! When I first started 4 years ago, I knew I wanted to do everything in my ability to care for and love these pups and learning their own personalities while creating bonds with the pups and their parents. I have learned so within these last couple of years and I strive to share as much information with all my peers. It is my goal to continue to work hard and make Ruff Housing Greensboro a healthy and happy environment for all the staff, dogs and their amazing owners!
Hi, my name is Kailey! I’ve been working with a wide variety of animals for the past five years, but dogs have always held a special place in my heart. I love getting to know each dog’s unique personality and making sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for. I have a strong interest in veterinary care and am passionate about providing every pet with the best possible attention and love. At home, I have a little zoo of my own—3 dogs, 4 cats, and 5 lizards! My ultimate dream is to open my own rescue and help save the lives of shelter dogs in need.
Hi! I'm Desiree, the groomer here at Ruff Housing Greensboro. I have been here for going on 3 years! It has been such an honor to work here and be a part of this team. I especially enjoy grooming all the fur babies here! Looking forward to seeing your babies in the salon.
